Holding up the proceedings with idiocy – 1: Windows copy

Found this morning that an overnight copy job to an online disk had stopped after 5% execution with a message asking whether to overwrite a file at the destination.

A perfect case of holding up the proceedings with idiocy. There is no reason why this dialogue has to be modal. Throw up a dialogue, sure, but allow me to deal with the problem at my convenience – which includes at the end of the copy job, after everything else has been copied.
